34.11.أَنِ اعْمَلْ سَابِغَاتٍ وَقَدِّرْ فِي السَّرْدِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحاً إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

34.11. en lui disant : «Fabrique des cuirasses et que les mailles en soient bien ajustées ! Accomplissez de bonnes actions, car Je vois tout ce que vous faites.»

34.11 . Saying : Make thou long coats of mail and measure the links ( thereof ) . And do ye right . Lo! I am Seer of what ye do .

34.11. Ani iAAmal sabighatin waqaddir fee alssardi waiAAmaloo salihan innee bima taAAmaloona baseerun

34.12.وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ

34.12. Et à Salomon Nous soumîmes le vent qui se mit à parcourir, le matin, la distance d'un mois de marche, et autant, le soir, dans le sens contraire. Et Nous fîmes jaillir pour lui la source d'airain. Par ordre de son Seigneur, des djinns étaient affectés à son service. Et Nous aurions fait goûter le châtiment du Brasier à quiconque parmi eux se serait soustrait à Nos ordres.

34.12 . And unto Solomon ( We gave ) the wind , whereof the morning course was a month ' s journey and the evening course a month ' s journey , and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him , and ( We gave him ) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord . And such of them as deviated from Our command , them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming fire .

34.12. Walisulaymana alrreeha ghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrun waasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni man yaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazigh minhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi alssaAAeeri

34.13.يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُ مَا يَشَاءُ مِن مَّحَارِيبَ وَتَمَاثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَّاسِيَاتٍ اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْراً وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ

34.13. Ils fabriquaient pour Salomon ce qu'il voulait en fait de sanctuaires, de statues, de chaudrons pareils à des bassins, et de marmites bien ancrées. Travaillez, ô gens de David, et rendez grâce au Seigneur, car peu de Mes serviteurs sont reconnaissants.

34.13 . They made for him what he willed : synagogues and statues , basins like wells and boilers built into the ground . Give thanks , O House of David! Few of My bondmen are thankful .

34.13. YaAAmaloona lahu ma yashao min mahareeba watamatheela wajifanin kaaljawabi waqudoorin rasiyatin iAAmaloo ala dawooda shukran waqaleelun min AAibadiya alshshakooru

34.14.فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَى مَوْتِهِ إِلَّا دَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا فِي الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ

34.14. Et lorsque Nous eûmes décidé sa mort, les djinns ne s'en rendirent compte que grâce aux termites qui avaient rongé la canne qui lui servait d'appui. Et quand il s'écroula, les djinns convinrent que s'ils connaissaient le mystère, ils n'auraient pas continué à exercer aussi longtemps une tâche si avilissante.

34.14 . And when We decreed death for him , nothing showed his death to them save a creeping creature of the earth which gnawed away his staff . And when he fell the jinn saw clearly how , if they had known the unseen , they would not have continued in despised toil .

34.14. Falamma qadayna AAalayhi almawta ma dallahum AAala mawtihi illa dabbatu al-ardi ta/kulu minsaatahu falamma kharra tabayyanati aljinnu an law kanoo yaAAlamoona alghayba ma labithoo fee alAAathabi almuheeni

34.15.لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍ فِي مَسْكَنِهِمْ آيَةٌ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٍ وَشِمَالٍ كُلُوا مِن رِّزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌ

34.15. Le pays des Saba' portait en lui la marque de la bonté divine : deux jardins qui s'étendaient de part et d'autre. «Mangez, leur fut-il dit, de ce que Dieu vous a accordé, et soyez-Lui reconnaissants : contrée heureuse et Maître Clément.»

34.15 . There was indeed a sign for Sheba in their dwelling place : Two gardens on the right hand and the left ( as who should say ) : Eat of the provision of your Lord and render thanks to Him . A fair land and an indulgent Lord!

34.15. Laqad kana lisaba-in fee maskanihim ayatun jannatani AAan yameenin washimalin kuloo min rizqi rabbikum waoshkuroo lahu baldatun tayyibatun warabbun ghafoorun
