35.41.إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَن تَزُولَا وَلَئِن زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيماً غَفُوراً

35.41. Dieu maintient les Cieux et la Terre pour les empêcher de s'affaisser. Et si jamais ils s'affaissaient, qui pourrait les soutenir si ce n'est Lui? Il est toute indulgence et toute clémence.

35.41 . Lo! Allah graspeth the heavens and the earth that they deviate not , and if they were to deviate there is not one that could grasp them after Him . Lo! He is ever Clement , Forgiving .

35.41. Inna Allaha yumsiku alssamawati waal-arda an tazoola wala-in zalata in amsakahuma min ahadin min baAAdihi innahu kana haleeman ghafooran

35.42.وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَى مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ فَلَمَّا جَاءهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُوراً

35.42. Ils juraient par Dieu en termes solennels que si jamais un prophète venait les avertir, ils seraient les mieux guidés des hommes. Or, lorsqu'ils eurent un Prophète, ils n'en furent que plus rebelles,

35.42 . And they swore by Allah , their most binding oath , that if a warner came unto them they would be more tractable than any of the nations ; yet , when a warner came unto them it aroused in them naught save repugnance ,

35.42. Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim la-in jaahum natheerun layakoonunna ahda min ihda al-omami falamma jaahum natheerun ma zadahum illa nufooran

35.43.اسْتِكْبَاراً فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلاً وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلاً

35.43. par orgueil sur Terre et par manœuvre perfide. Mais les manœuvres perfides ne retombent que sur leurs auteurs. À quoi s'attendent-ils d'autre qu'à la règle que Dieu a appliquée aux anciens? Car la loi de Dieu est immuable, et nul ne saurait en dévier le cours.

35.43 . ( Shown in their ) behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil ; and the evil plot encloseth but the men who make it . Then , can they expect aught save the treatment of the folk of old? Thou wilt not find for Allah ' s way of treatment any substitute , nor wilt thou find for Allah ' s way of treatment aught of power to change .

35.43. Istikbaran fee al-ardi wamakra alssayyi-i wala yaheequ almakru alssayyi-o illa bi-ahlihi fahal yanthuroona illa sunnata al-awwaleena falan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tahweelan

35.44.أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيماً قَدِيراً

35.44. N'ont-ils donc jamais parcouru la Terre pour voir ce qu'il est advenu de ceux qui les ont précédés, et qui étaient pourtant plus forts qu'eux? Aucune force dans les Cieux ni sur la Terre ne saurait tenir celle du Seigneur en échec, car Il est Omniscient et Il a pouvoir sur toute chose.

35.44 . Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them , and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him . Lo! He is the Wise , the Mighty .

35.44. Awa lam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim wakanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan wama kana Allahu liyuAAjizahu min shay-in fee alssamawati wala fee al-ardi innahu kana AAaleeman qadeeran

35.45.وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيراً

35.45. Et si Dieu s'en prenait aux hommes pour les péchés qu'ils commettent, il n'y aurait plus âme qui vive sur la Terre. Mais Il diffère leur châtiment jusqu'au terme fixé , et quand ce terme échoit, Il les jugera en toute connaissance de cause.

35.45 . If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve , He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth ; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term , and when their term cometh then verily ( they will know that ) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves .

35.45. Walaw yu-akhithu Allahu alnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAala thahriha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran
