41.21.وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا قَالُوا أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
41.21. «Pourquoi témoignez-vous contre nous?», diront-ils à leurs peaux. Et celles-ci de leur répondre : «C'est Dieu qui nous fait parler, comme Il fait parler toute chose. N'est-ce pas Lui qui vous a créés une première fois et vers qui vous faites maintenant retour?
41.21 . And they say unto their skins : Why testify ye against us? They say : Allah hath given us speech Who giveth speech to all things , and Who created you at the first , and unto Whom ye are returned .
41.21. Waqaloo lijuloodihim lima shahidtum AAalayna qaloo antaqana Allahu allathee antaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa khalaqakum awwala marratin wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona
41.22.وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيراً مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
41.22. D'ailleurs, vous n'avez jamais cherché à vous cacher pour empêcher ainsi vos oreilles, vos yeux et vos peaux de témoigner contre vous , mais vous pensiez plutôt que Dieu n'était pas au courant de la plupart de vos actes.
41.22 . Ye did not hide yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you , but ye deemed that Allah knew riot much of what ye did .
41.22. Wama kuntum tastatiroona an yashhada AAalaykum samAAukum wala absarukum wala juloodukum walakin thanantum anna Allaha la yaAAlamu katheeran mimma taAAmaloona
41.23.وَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ
41.23. C'est ce que vous pensiez de votre Seigneur , et c'est cette pensée-là qui a causé votre perte et vous a conduits à être du nombre des damnés !»
41.23 . That , your thought which ye did think about your Lord , hath ruined you ; and ye find yourselves ( this day ) among the lost .
41.23. Wathalikum thannukumu allathee thanantum birabbikum ardakum faasbahtum mina alkhasireena
41.24.فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُم مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ
41.24. Aujourd'hui, même s'ils se résignent, l'Enfer n'en sera pas moins leur demeure , et même s'ils s'excusent, ils ne seront pas pour autant excusés.
41.24 . And though they are resigned , yet the Fire is still their home ; and if they ask for favor , yet they are not of those unto whom favor can be shown .
41.24. Fa-in yasbiroo faalnnaru mathwan lahum wa-in yastaAAtiboo fama hum mina almuAAtabeena
41.25.وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاء فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ
41.25. Nous leur avions suscité de mauvais compagnons qui embellissaient tout à leurs yeux, aussi bien dans le présent que dans le futur , et c'est ainsi que se réalisa contre eux le Décret divin qui avait condamné, dans le passé, tant de peuples de djinns et d'hommes, et que leur perte fut consommée.
41.25 . And We assigned them comrades ( in the world ) , who made their present and their past fair seeming unto them . And the Word concerning nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before them hath effect for them . Verily they are the losers .
41.25. Waqayyadna lahum quranaa fazayyanoo lahum ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wahaqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu fee omamin qad khalat min qablihim mina aljinni waal-insi innahum kanoo khasireena
