57.16.أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

57.16. Alors, le moment n'est-il pas venu pour ceux qui croient de laisser leurs cœurs se remplir d'humilité à l'évocation de Dieu et devant la Vérité qu'Il a révélée? Ne doivent-ils pas éviter de suivre l'exemple de ceux qui avaient reçu l'Écriture avant eux et dont les cœurs se sont desséchés avec le temps, au point que beaucoup d'entre eux devinrent pervers?

57.16 . Is not the time ripe for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah ' s reminder and to the truth which is revealed , that they become not as those who received the Scripture of old but the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened , and many of them are evil livers .

57.16. Alam ya/ni lillatheena amanoo an takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wama nazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu al-amadu faqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona

57.17.اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

57.17. Sachez que Dieu fait revivre la terre après sa mort. Nous vous exposons clairement les signes afin que vous puissiez en comprendre le sens.

57.17 . Know that Allah quickeneth the earth after its death . We have made clear Our revelations for you , that haply ye may understand .

57.17. IAAlamoo anna Allaha yuhyee al-arda baAAda mawtiha qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati laAAallakum taAAqiloona

57.18.إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقَاتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ

57.18. En vérité, ceux et celles qui font la charité et consentent à Dieu un prêt gracieux, Dieu le leur rendra au décuple et leur attribuera, en plus, une généreuse récompense.

57.18 . Lo! those who give alms , both men and women , and lend unto Allah a goodly loan , it will be doubled for them , and theirs will be a rich reward .

57.18. Inna almussaddiqeena waalmussaddiqati waaqradoo Allaha qardan hasanan yudaAAafu lahum walahum ajrun kareemun

57.19.وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ وَالشُّهَدَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ

57.19. Ceux qui auront cru en Dieu et à Ses messagers, ceux-là seront les grands véridiques et les témoins auprès de leur Seigneur , et ils auront leur récompense et leur lumière, tandis que ceux qui auront mécru et auront traité Nos signes de mensonges, ceux-là seront les hôtes de la Géhenne.

57.19 . And those who believe in Allah and His messengers , they are the loyal ; and the martyrs are with their Lord ; they have their reward and their light ; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations , they are owners of hell fire .

57.19. Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi ola-ika humu alssiddeeqoona waalshshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo bi-ayatina ola-ika as-habu aljaheemi

57.20.اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَزِينَةٌ وَتَفَاخُرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِي الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَوْلَادِ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ الْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرّاً ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَاماً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانٌ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ

57.20. Sachez que la vie d'ici-bas n'est que jeu et frivolité, apparat et futiles rivalités, ainsi que joutes sur la quantité de richesses et le nombre d'enfants. Elle est semblable à une pluie qui fait pousser une végétation qui, après avoir charmé un instant les cultivateurs, se fane, jaunit et tombe en débris. Dans la vie future, il y aura soit un terrible tourment, soit le pardon de Dieu et Son agrément. Quant à la vie d'ici-bas, elle n'est que jouissance éphémère.

57.20 . Know that the life of this world is only play , and idle talk , and pageantry , and boasting among you , and rivalry in respect of wealth and children ; as the likeness of vegetation after rain , whereof the growth is pleasing to the husbandman , but afterward it drieth up and thou seest it turning yellow then it becometh straw . And in the Hereafter there is grievous punishment , and ( also ) forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure , whereas the life of the world is but matter of illusion .

57.20. IAAlamoo annama alhayatu alddunya laAAibun walahwun wazeenatun watafakhurun baynakum watakathurun fee al-amwali waal-awladi kamathali ghaythin aAAjaba alkuffara nabatuhu thumma yaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yakoonu hutaman wafee al-akhirati AAathabun shadeedun wamaghfiratun mina Allahi waridwanun wama alhayatu alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori
