59.11.أَلَمْ تَر إِلَى الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا يَقُولُونَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَئِنْ أُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمْ أَحَداً أَبَداً وَإِن قُوتِلْتُمْ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

59.11. N'as-tu pas remarqué ce que disent les hypocrites à leurs frères négateurs, parmi les gens des Écritures : «Si vous êtes exilés, nous vous suivrons , nous n'obéirons jamais à ceux qui sont contre vous. Et si vous êtes attaqués, nous volerons à votre secours.» Mais Dieu est Témoin qu'ils ne racontent là que des mensonges,

59.11 . Hast thou not observed those who are hypocrites , ( how ) they tell their brethren who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture : If ye are driven out , we surely will go out with you , and we will never obey anyone against you , and if ye are attacked we verily will help you . And Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars .

59.11. Alam tara ila allatheena nafaqoo yaqooloona li-ikhwanihimu allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi la-in okhrijtum lanakhrujanna maAAakum wala nuteeAAu feekum ahadan abadan wa-in qootiltum lanansurannakum waAllahu yashhadu innahum lakathiboona

59.12.لَئِنْ أُخْرِجُوا لَا يَخْرُجُونَ مَعَهُمْ وَلَئِن قُوتِلُوا لَا يَنصُرُونَهُمْ وَلَئِن نَّصَرُوهُمْ لَيُوَلُّنَّ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ

59.12. car ces hypocrites ne suivront pas leurs alliés, s'ils sont expulsés, pas plus qu'ils ne les assisteront, s'ils sont attaqués , et même s'ils leur prêtaient secours, ils ne tarderaient pas à s'enfuir. Et c'est ainsi que leurs alliés ne recevront, en définitive, aucun secours.

59.12 . ( For ) indeed if they are driven out they go not out with them , and indeed if they are attacked they help not , and indeed if they had helped them they would have turned and fled , and then they would not have been victorious .

59.12. La-in okhrijoo la yakhrujoona maAAahum wala-in qootiloo la yansuroonahum wala-in nasaroohum layuwallunna al-adbara thumma la yunsaroona

59.13.لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ

59.13. En vérité, vous leur inspirez plus de peur que Dieu Lui-même, car ce sont des gens incapables de comprendre.

59.13 . Ye are more awful as a fear in their bosoms than Allah . That is because they are a folk who understand not .

59.13. Laantum ashaddu rahbatan fee sudoorihim mina Allahi thalika bi-annahum qawmun la yafqahoona

59.14.لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعاً إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاء جُدُرٍ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعاً وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ

59.14. Même tous rassemblés ils ne vous combattront qu'à l'abri de leurs places fortes ou derrière leurs murailles. Leur violence les uns à l'égard des autres est extrême. On les croirait unis alors que leurs cœurs sont divisés. Et il en est ainsi, parce que ce sont des gens incapables de raisonner.

59.14 . They will not fight against you in a body save in fortified villages or from behind walls . Their adversity among themselves is very great . Ye think of them as a whole whereas their hearts are divers . That is because they are a folk who have no sense .

59.14. La yuqatiloonakum jameeAAan illa fee quran muhassanatin aw min wara-i judurin ba/suhum baynahum shadeedun tahsabuhum jameeAAan waquloobuhum shatta thalika bi-annahum qawmun la yaAAqiloona

59.15.كَمَثَلِ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيباً ذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

59.15. Ils sont semblables à leurs proches prédécesseurs qui eurent à éprouver les suites néfastes de leur comportement, et qui auront à subir un douloureux châtiment.

59.15 . On the likeness of those ( who suffered ) a short time before them , they taste the ill effects of their conduct , and theirs is painful punishment .

59.15. Kamathali allatheena min qablihim qareeban thaqoo wabala amrihim walahum AAathabun aleemun
