59.1.سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

59.1. Tout ce qui est dans les Cieux et sur la Terre célèbre la gloire du Seigneur, le Puissant, le Sage.

59.1 . All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah , and He is the Mighty , the Wise .

59.1. Sabbaha lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

59.2.هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ

59.2. C'est Lui qui a chassé de leurs demeures les négateurs parmi les gens des Écritures, lors de leur premier exode. Vous ne pensiez pas qu'ils s'en iraient, de même qu'eux s'imaginaient qu'ils seraient protégés contre Dieu par leurs forteresses. Mais Dieu les atteignit par où ils s'attendaient le moins. Il jeta l'effroi dans leurs cœurs au point qu'ils démolirent à l'aide des croyants leurs demeures avec leurs propres mains. Méditez cette leçon, vous qui êtes doués d'intelligence !

59.2 . He it is Who hath caused those of the People of the Scripture who disbelieved to go forth from their homes unto the first exile . Ye deemed not that they would go forth , while they deemed that their strongholds would protect them from Allah . But Allah reached them from a place whereof they reckoned not , and cast terror in their hearts so that they ruined their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers . So learn a lesson , O ye who have eyes!

59.2. Huwa allathee akhraja allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi min diyarihim li-awwali alhashri ma thanantum an yakhrujoo wathannoo annahum maniAAatuhum husoonuhum mina Allahi faatahumu Allahu min haythu lam yahtasiboo waqathafa fee quloobihimu alrruAAba yukhriboona buyootahum bi-aydeehim waaydee almu/mineena faiAAtabiroo ya olee al-absari

59.3.وَلَوْلَا أَن كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاء لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ

59.3. Si Dieu n'avait pas décrété leur exil, Il les aurait déjà châtiés en ce monde. Néanmoins, le châtiment du Feu leur sera infligé dans la vie future,

59.3 . And if Allah had not decreed migration for them , He verily would have punished them in this world , and theirs in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire .

59.3. Walawla an kataba Allahu AAalayhimu aljalaa laAAaththabahum fee alddunya walahum fee al-akhirati AAathabu alnnari

59.4.ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَمَن يُشَاقِّ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

59.4. et ce pour s'être dressés contre Dieu et Son Prophète. Or, Dieu est Impitoyable dans Son châtiment envers ceux qui s'insurgent contre Lui.

59.4 . That is because they were opposed to Allah and His messenger ; and whoso is opposed to Allah , ( for him ) verily Allah is stern in reprisal .

59.4. Thalika bi-annahum shaqqoo Allaha warasoolahu waman yushaqqi Allaha fa-inna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi

59.5.مَا قَطَعْتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

59.5. Les palmiers que vous avez coupés et ceux que vous avez épargnés le furent avec la permission de Dieu, dans le but de confondre les pervers.

59.5 . Whatsoever palm trees ye cut down or left standing on their roots , it was by Allah ' s leave , in order that He might confound the evil livers .

59.5. Ma qataAAtum min leenatin aw taraktumooha qa-imatan AAala osooliha fabi-ithni Allahi waliyukhziya alfasiqeena
