Salaam / azul / bonjour and hello everybody !

This is the first time I come here, and it's just wonderful to have a little space where ideas can be exchanged, questions asked and answers given.. So thanks everyone involved in creating or contributing to this space !

I am here basically cause I'm expecting a baby boy in some months' time inshallah, and I am hoping to find ideas of beautiful, muslim, short and exotic names that hopefully are read the same way in the original language (I'm thinking of Ayman of course, which is the same in all languages - no 'R', no 'Ain', etc.).

Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks

Hello everybody, and thanks for the suggestions. These are all very cute names.

Anyway, I am of moroccan descent and so is my wife. We both live in France. We're currrently looking for names and it's so hard to get THE one !

We've been thinking about Ziad and Imad. I personally like the latter but my wife seems to prefer the first. We also like Ayman, Naïm and Ilyas but members of our family are already called these names. I guess we'll just have to pick one of the two.

Thanks everybody and have a great day !

Georgina, how was the wedding ?
