I'm quite pleased to hear that Touria Jabrane has been appointed minsiter of culture. That's precisely what we need, artists who actually come from the field and who have got solid roots in the cultural scene. These are the guys who struggled and worked hard to get themselves a reputation. I hope she will be given the right tools and freedom to create programmes and come up with new plans to promote the culture and engage the population actively in the field.
