The Adidas Stan Smith has recently underwent new modifications, which have a Moroccan touch to them.
The heel paneling and insoles of the sneakers «have been accessorized with diamond-shaped Moroccan tile patterns», Sneakers News reported. While the right side features blue and burgundy patterns, the left one is colored green and yellow.
Adidas is not the only brand that has been inspired by Morocco and its colorful tiles. Puma, a German multinational company that designs athletic footwear, released in 2017 sneakers inspired by the magical garden Majorelle located in Marrakech.
