Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari has announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. On his Instagram account, the athlete said that he is «currently quarantined and recovering at home».
«We have taken all the health precautions related to the new coronavirus very seriously since the start of this pandemic, but unfortunately the contamination has occurred. This shows us how seriously the virus needs to be dealt with», he added.
He has indicated that he needs this rest for the time being, adding that he is determined to resume his training «as soon as possible».
On November 7, Badr Hari will face his Romanian opponent, Benjamin Adegbuyi.
