4,151 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 186,731.
2,847 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 154,481.
53 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,132. 20 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 6 in Marrakech-Safi, 6 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 5 in the Oriental, 5 in Fès-Meknes, 5 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.
The country has 29,118 active cases, including 652 in critical conditions. 43 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat region recorded 2,011 new cases: 1,530 in Casablanca, 116 in Nouaceur, 104 in Mohammedia, 71 in Settat, 70 in Berrechid, 52 in El Jadida, 38 in Mediouna, 28 in Benslimane and two in Sidi Bennour. Then comes the Oriental region with 565 new cases: 330 in Oujda-Angad, 61 in Nador, 61 in Berkane, 52 in Jerada, 26 in Taourirt, 23 in Guercif, 11 in Figuig and 1 case in Driouch.
Rabat-Salé-Kenitra follows with 496 new infections: 149 in Skhirat-Témara, 129 in Kénitra, 84 in Salé, 80 in Rabat, 41 in Sidi Kacem, 9 in Khemisset and 4 cases in Sidi Slimane. 248 cases were confirmed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima: 87 in Tétouan, 61 in Tanger-Assilah, 36 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 24 in Al Hoceima, 21 in Larache, 13 cases in Ouazzane and 6 cases in Chefchaouen.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 245 new infections: 153 in Marrakech, 37 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 20 in Youssoufia, 10 in Chichaoua, 8 in Safi, 8 in Essaouira, 5 in the province of Al Haouz and 4 in Rhamna. Souss-Massa recorded 213 new cases: 119 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 59 in Taroudant, 21 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 12 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and two cases in Tata.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 98 new infections were confirmed (24 in Tinghir, 23 in Midelt, 22 in Errachidia, 18 in Ouarzazate and 11 cases in Zagora) and Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 95 infections ( 42 in Fqih Bensaleh, 30 in Khouribga, 12 in Khénifra and 11 in Azilal).
87 cases were confirmed in Fès-Meknes: 35 in Taza, 17 in Fez, 11 in Taounate, 11 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou, 4 in El Hajeb and three cases in Ifrane.
In the southern provinces, 58 infections were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (30 in Guelmim, 14 in Sidi Ifni, 11 in Tan Tan and 3 cases in Assa Zag), 29 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (25 in Laâyoune and 4 in Es-Smara) and 6 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
