The national brigade of the judicial police (BNPJ) in Casablanca has been tasked with opening an investigation into the false statement claiming the holding this Sunday of a Government Council for the approval of a total quarantine on the whole territory of the Kingdom in order to curb the pandemic of the coronavirus (Covid 19), as of Monday November 2, 2020, the public prosecutor at the Rabat Appeal Court has announced.
This investigation comes following the statement, issued this Sunday by the department of the Head of Government, which denied the content of the fallacious statement, the same source said in a statement.
The results of this investigation will establish legal effects, the statement concluded.
