70 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,127. 21 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 11 in the Oriental, 11 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 10 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 6 in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, 3 in Marrakech-Safi , 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 1 in Souss-Massa, 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 1 in Laâyoune Es-Sakia El Hamra, 1 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
The country has 42,432 active cases, including 935 in critical conditions. 67 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 2,409 cases: 1,931 in Casablanca, 96 in Nouaceur, 90 in El Jadida, 78 in Mohammedia, 67 in Settat, 58 in Médiouna, 48 in Berrechid, 23 in Benslimane and 18 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 1,060 cases: 284 in Salé, 273 in Skhirat-Témara, 211 in Kénitra, 100 in Sidi Kacem, 95 in Rabat, 93 in Khémisset and 4 in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental region follows with 686 cases: 336 in Oujda-Angad, 90 in Berkane, 86 in Guercif, 77 in Nador, 42 in Jerada, 32 in Driouch, 19 in Taourirt and 4 in Figuig. Souss-Massa has 501 cases: 285 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 119 Inezgane Aït Melloul, 52 in Taroudant, 23 in Tata, 12 in Tiznit and 10 in Chtouka Aït Baha.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 381 infections in 24 hours: 136 in Tanger-Assilah, 44 in Larache, 41 in Al Hoceïma, 41 in Chefchaouen, 40 in Tétouan, 40 in M'diq-Fnideq, 38 in Ouezzane and 1 at Fahs Anjra.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 289 new cases: 200 in Marrakech, 30 in Youssoufia, 16 in Rehamna, 15 in Essaouira, 10 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 10 in El Haouz and 8 in Safi. In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 176 cases were confirmed: 67 in Khouribga, 51 in Fqih Bensalah, 25 in Khénifra, 18 in Béni Mellal and 15 in Azilal.
The Drâa-Tafilalet region identified 103 new infections: 43 in Midelt, 28 in Errachidia, 18 in Tinghir, 8 in Ouarzazate and 6 in Zagora. Fès-Meknes recorded 93: 34 in Fès, 14 in Sefrou, 12 in Meknes, 11 in Boulemane, 7 in Taza, 6 in El Hajeb, 6 in Taounate and 3 in Ifrane.
Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 66 infections: 43 in Guelmim, 14 in Tan Tan, 7 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Assa Zag. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 46 new cases: 40 in Laâyoune, 4 in Boujdour and 1 in Tarfaya.
Finally, Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 27 cases, all to Oued Ed Dahab.
