A Royal Navy coastguard aborted early on Sunday, a drug trafficking attempt off the coast of Al Hoceima, which led to the arrest of five traffickers onboard a fishing boat and the seizure of 69 bundles of cannabis resin totaling two tons, according to a military source.
The cargo, the seized material and the traffickers were handed over to the Gendarmerie Royale for the usual legal procedures, the same source added.
