The embassy and the consulate general of Morocco in Tunisia held Saturday a ceremony to award prizes to children of the Moroccan community living in this country who won a drawing competition called Let's draw Morocco, our Homeland.

These children, aged 10 to 14, participated in this competition with drawings reflecting their attachment to their motherland and retracing the salient events in the history of modern Morocco.

Speaking on this occasion, Morocco's ambassador to Tunisia, Hassan Tariq, praised the efforts of the children participating in this competition.

This drawing contest aims to encourage children of the Moroccan community established in Tunisia to develop their creativity and strengthen their ties with their homeland, he added.

At the end of this ceremony, held in compliance with the health protocol related to the coronavirus epidemic, several prizes (tablets, books, fables ...) were awarded to the winning children.

This competition was held on the occasion of the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of Independence and the 45th anniversary of the glorious Green March.
