Morocco has implemented new travel restrictions on people coming from Denmark, according to the embassy of Denmark in the Kingdom.
In a statement published, Thursday, on its website, the diplomatic representation announced that Morocco «has introduced an entry ban on travelers coming from Denmark». «The entry ban applies until further notice», reads the same statement.

Morocco’s decision comes as Denmark is witnessing rising numbers of coronavirus infections. The Scandinavian country has confirmed the first cases of the new coronavirus variant found spreading rapidly in parts of the United Kingdom. Denmark has identified 33 infections with the new strain so far.
For the record, Morocco decided to suspend flights to and from the United Kingdom, starting from Sunday, December 20.
