Restaurants around the country will be able to receive customers again, starting from Wednesday, January 13. The step comes three weeks after the government decided to impose strict preventive measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement sent to Yabiladi, the Moroccan confederation of catering trades confirmed the decision, explaining that customers can «be served meals inside restaurants in full compliance with the planned preventive measures». The same source insisted on respecting the closing time, set at 8 pm.
The confederation also praised the professionals in the sector for their positive reaction to the decisions taken by the authorities.
