Coronavirus variant : Morocco imposes entry ban on passengers from four countries

The competent authorities have decided to ban the entry to the national territory, as of January 19, 2021, and until further notice, of aircraft and passengers from Australia, Brazil, Ireland, and New Zealand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad announced on Monday.

This decision comes as a precautionary measure following the discovery of a suspicious case of coronavirus variant, the ministry said in a statement.

These countries add up to South Africa, Denmark and the United Kingdom, already concerned by this same measure.
