Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit held talks, Monday, with his Israeli counterpart Aryé Makhlouf Dery. «I spoke this morning with the Interior Minister of Morocco and we have decided to set up a team from the two departments to examine the introduction of foreign workers into the nursing industry and the examination of visa exemption», Dery wrote on Twitter.

Aryé Makhlouf Dery said that during this phone call, he «recalled memories of [his] hometown» Meknes. «We also exchanged invitations to visit Israel and Morocco», he concluded.

Since the signing of the Joint Declaration, which formalized the resumption of diplomatic relations between Rabat and Tel Aviv, Moroccan and Israeli officials have been discussing means of cooperation.

On Thursday, Energy Minister Aziz Rabbah attended a remote meeting with his Israeli counterpart.
