Minister of State for Human Rights and Relations with Parliament Mustapha Ramid has made a U-turn on his resignation decision, Le360 reported. According to the same source, this decision was made after an apology by the Head of Government Saadeddine El Othmani.

The same source confirmed Ramid decided to resign from his post because he was not informed of the decision made by decree in the Council of Government to hold an extraordinary session of the Parliament on Tuesday, March 2, while he is Minister of Relations with the Parliament.

For his part, Justice and Development Party leader Mohamed Yatim said on his Facebook page that «Ramid may have withdrawn his resignation», reporting that the surgery he underwent was successful.

On Friday, Ramid submitted his resignation from his governmental responsibilities, citing «health reasons».
