The Moroccan Cultural Days held in Paris truly captivated the public, drawing Moroccans living in France as well as Parisians and tourists eager to discover the richness of Morocco’s heritage.
Set up near the Luxembourg Gardens, the event recreated an authentic Moroccan village, showcasing the country’s crafts, cuisine, and cultural traditions. Among the highlights was the presence of exhibitors from the southern provinces, who brought emblematic products such as carpets, silver jewelry, and traditional garments including the Mlehfa and the Deraiya.
Tea rituals, a symbol of hospitality, also offered a vivid glimpse into local traditions. Habiba Zemmouri, the Kingdom’s consul general in Paris, emphasized the event’s success in terms of attendance and cultural exchange. The craft stalls drew particular attention with decorative items and traditional creations, illustrating the richness of Morocco’s artisanal trades.
The varied program shone a spotlight on both contemporary and traditional Moroccan culture, blending modernity with heritage. Food was also a major feature, allowing visitors to sample Moroccan specialties.
