The government Council, held Thursday in Rabat, has decided to extend the state of health emergency across the national territory until April 10, 2021, as part of efforts aimed at curbing the spread of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
This decision was made in view of the latest developments of the epidemiological situation in Morocco, concerning the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
On March 19, 2020, the Ministry of the Interior declared for the first time a state of health emergency.
