Member of UNESCO'S World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific knowledge and Technology (COMEST) and international expert in artificial intelligence (AI), Moroccan Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni has been nominated for the Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards, in the «Woman of the Year» category.
The Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards celebrate relevant, ethical, and humane analytics work by recognizing women in applied business analytics, projects that impact social and environmental issues, and innovative work by young professionals.
Organized by the Fisher Center for Business Analytics at the Berkeley Hass School of Business, the awards are honorary and promote the rightful place of women and diversity in the field of business analytics. They include «Woman of the Year», «Project of the Year» and «Young Talent of the Year».
«I am very honored by this nomination for the Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards», El Fellah Seghrouchni told MAP.
Another Moroccan woman, Samira Khamlichi, CEO of WafaCash, was also nominated in the category «Business Analytics Projects of the Year».
