Morocco : 4.5-magnitude earthquake shakes Driouch province

A 4.5-magnitude quake on the Richter scale was recorded, on Saturday, in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The earthquake, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, occurred at 10:10:04 p.m. (GMT), said the ING National Seismic Monitoring and Warning Network in a seismic alert bulletin.

Occurring at a depth of 13 km, the tremor took place at a latitude of 35.656°N and longitude of 3.577 °W, added the same source.
