Moroccan army coastal surveillance unit rescues 59 sub-Saharan migrants off Boujdour

Royal Armed Forces' (FAR) coastal surveillance unit rescued, on Wednesday, 59 sub-Saharan irregular migrants, including 11 women and 02 minors, who were seeking irregular migration, said a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

The sub-Saharan nationals, who were rescued approximately 54 km north of the city of Boujdour, received necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for standard administrative procedures, the same source specifies.
