Morocco's Army assists 85 sub-Saharan migrants near Dakhla

Morocco Royal Army patrols, 211 kilometers southwest of Dakhla, intercepted a stranded pirogue carrying 85 sub-Saharan migrants, including four women and three minors, on Tuesday.

The General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces said in a press release that the pirogue, which set sail on February 22nd, was heading towards the Canary Islands. The rescued people received necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for standard administrative procedures.
