Clocks back one hour in Morocco this Sunday, March 10th
DR

Morocco will switch back to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 3:00 AM. This change precedes the holy month of Ramadan, during which the country observes its standard time zone. As a result, clocks will need to be set back one hour.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, this decision is based on article 2 of decree 2.18.855 concerning legal time.

The same source clarifies that Morocco will return to GMT+1 time at 2:00 AM following the conclusion of Ramadan, on April 14, 2024.
