Morocco has strongly condemned the Israeli army's attack on a camp housing more than 100,000 displaced Palestinians near the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The offensive left dozens of civilians dead and wounded, in flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian law, denounced a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Kingdom, whose sovereign chairs the Al Quds Committee, stresses the importance of complying with the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) calling on Israel to immediately cease its military operations at Rafah, while reiterating its call for an immediate and lasting ceasefire to guarantee the protection of the Palestinian people and ensure the safe and unhindered flow of large amounts of humanitarian aid and relief supplies to the Gaza Strip through all crossing points, including the Rafah crossing, the same source added.
