The Spanish National Police announced the arrest of an individual in Teulada (Alicante) for alleged membership of the terrorist organization Daesh. The operation was carried out jointly with the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
In a statement, the Spanish Police said the individual is accused of crimes related to integrating into a terrorist organization, recruitment, indoctrination, and apology for terrorism.

The investigation revealed that the suspect produced and distributed numerous pro-Daesh publications, with a recent increase in their frequency and radical content. He even created his own jihadist material to be shared openly on social networks.
According to the Spanish police, the suspect maintained regular contact with individuals previously arrested for jihadist terrorism in Spain and Morocco, as well as with foreign terrorist fighters in the Syrian-Iraqi zone.
