On Wednesday, a Royal Navy vessel intercepted a pirogue carrying 91 sub-Saharan migrants approximately 189 kilometers southwest of Dakhla.
The migrants, who were reportedly aiming to reach the Canary Islands, received necessary care before being transferred to the Royal Gendarmerie for standard administrative procedures, according to a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
