King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has directed the launch of a humanitarian operation to deliver medical aid to the Palestinian population in Gaza.
The aid, ordered by the King, comprises 40 tons of medical supplies, including equipment for treating burns, conducting emergency surgeries, orthopedics, and fractures, as well as essential medications, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.
These medical supplies are intended for both adults and children. Notably, the King personally funded a significant portion of this aid. the latter was transported via four Hercules aircraft yesterday.
The Moroccan aid will be delivered via the same unprecedented land route used for sending food aid under the King's instructions last Ramadan.
