Casablanca Fête de la Musique celebrates diversity with record attendance

The 2024 edition of the Fête de la Musique, organized by local development company Casablanca Events et Animation, was a resounding success. Held on June 28 and 29, the event aims to promote music in all its forms and celebrate cultural and musical diversity.

Offering an opportunity for amateur and professional musicians to perform in public and share their passion with Casablancans and visitors to the city, the program boasted a diverse lineup of artists: Ganga Vives, Hasba Groove, D33psoul, Betweenatna, Issawa, Groupe Ghiwani, Gnaoua, and Groupe Wlad Sousdi (Lemchaheb).

The Fête de la Musique attracted a record-breaking 14,000 attendees. This variety of musical talent and backgrounds demonstrated the general enthusiasm for the event and reflected the Kingdom's rich cultural tapestry. The participants' enthusiasm and the inclusive program created a veritable melting pot of musical cultures, uniting people from all walks of life in a shared celebration of music.

Mohamed Jouahri, General Manager of Casablanca Events et Animation, expressed his satisfaction: «This event is not only a celebration of music, but also a celebration of unity and diversity. We thank all the artists, participants, and spectators who made these two days an unforgettable experience».
