The Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), in collaboration with key industry players, is organizing Morocco's participation in the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, held from July 22 to 26 in Farnborough, UK.
A high-level delegation of Moroccan aerospace officials and professionals will attend the event to promote investment opportunities and sourcing capabilities in Morocco's aerospace sector. Led by AMDIE Director General Ali Seddiki, the delegation includes representatives from key public and private institutions: the National Defense Administration, Deposit and Management Fund, Royal Air Maroc, Medz, TMSA, and the Institute of Aeronautical Professions. Additionally, companies like Bi Engineering, Dona, GLPF, NTS, OB Electronique, TDM Aerospace, Structural Aerospace Morocco, LEANCAM, and Trigo will showcase their expertise.
Morocco will have a 180 sqm national pavilion for meetings with international and global aerospace players. The goal is to showcase Morocco's capabilities and forge partnerships in this industry.
With its position as an industrial hub, Morocco offers a world-class aerospace platform with a dynamic ecosystem. Over 142 companies operate in the sector, employing 20,000 people and generating $2 billion in export turnover. Boasting a 40% integration rate and a staggering 17% average annual growth, Morocco's aerospace sector is well above the global average.
