Moroccan left winger Fatima Tagnaout has joined the FC Seville women's team for two seasons, following her transfer from AS FAR during the summer transfer window. The Casablanca native played a pivotal role for AS FAR, winning eight league titles and seven Moroccan Cups. She also helped Morocco win the UNAF tournament in 2020.
Fatima Tagnaout played 48 matches for the national team, reaching the finals of the Aisha Buhari Cup (2021) and the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2022). This World Cup qualification marked a historic moment, with Morocco becoming the first Arab nation in the Women's World Cup.

A key player for both club and country, the 25-year-old winger earned continental recognition as the best interclub player at the 2023 CAF Awards. With her transfer, Fatima Tagnaout becomes the first Moroccan female footballer in history to wear the jersey of Seville's first women's team.
