Moroccan cyclists Idriss Alouani and Salma Hariri triumph in 2024 Throne Cup

Cyclists Idriss Alouani (Club Ismailia de Meknès) and Salma Hariri (Association des Champions de Safi de Cyclisme) won the 2024 Throne Cup road cycling competition in the senior category.

During the competition, held on Sunday, July 29, 2024, in Souk Sebt Oulad Nemma (Fkih Ben Salah province), Alouani defeated Adnan Arbia (Kawkab Marrakech) and Mouhcine Rhaili (Qatari club Al-Adham) in the men's category.

In the women's category, Salma Hariri claimed first place ahead of Yasmine Najmi (Union sportive de Ouezzane).

Organized to celebrate Throne Day, this sporting event was a collaboration between the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation, the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Regional League, and the «Jeunesse Souk Sebt» and «Amal Souk Sebt» associations.

The 2024 Throne Cup road cycling competition took place over a 3.7-kilometer closed circuit and featured approximately 200 cyclists representing more than 40 sports associations from across Morocco.
