RCD Espanyol Barcelona announced on Tuesday that they have signed Moroccan international striker Walid Cheddira on a 2024-2025 season loan from Napoli.
The club said in a statement that they reached an agreement with the Italian club to bring Cheddira to Catalonia. The 26-year-old Atlas Lion has successfully passed a medical examination and will join the Espanyol training squad this afternoon.
Cheddira joined Napoli in 2023-2024 before moving on loan to Frosinone, where he made 39 appearances in Serie A and Coppa Italia, scoring 8 goals.
