King Mohammed VI congratulates Moroccan paralympic champions for wins at Paris 2024

King Mohammed VI sent messages of congratulations to the Moroccan Paralympic champions crowned at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The Sovereign addressed Royal messages to athlete Fatima Ezzahra El Idrissi, who won a gold medal in the marathon (T12), breaking the world record, and a silver medal in the 1500m (T13); to athlete Aymane El Haddaoui, who claimed a gold medal in the 400m (T47), also breaking the world record, and a bronze medal in the 100m (T47); and to athlete Mouncef Bouja, who secured the gold medal in the 400m (T12).

In these messages, the King extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Paralympic athletes, commending their remarkable performances, which honor both themselves and Moroccan sports. The Sovereign wished them continued success in their promising sporting careers, driven by the same willpower, determination, and ambition to always raise the national flag during international competitions.

Similar messages of congratulations were sent to Meryem En-Nourhi (Marathon - T12), Youssra Karim (Discus Throw - F41), Abdelilah Gani (Shot Put - F53), Ayoub Sadni (400m - T47), and Azddine Nouiri (Shot Put - T34), who won silver medals, as well as to Saida Amoudi (Shot Put - F34), Rajae Akermach (Para-Taekwondo +65kg - K44), Ayoub Adouich (Para-Taekwondo -63kg - K44), Zakaria Derhem (Shot Put - F33), and El Amin Chentouf (Marathon - T12), who claimed bronze medals.

In these messages, the King praised the athletes' sustained efforts in representing Moroccan sport with distinction, wishing them further success in their careers, the fulfillment of their ambitions, and continued triumph on international podiums, raising the national flag at various international sporting events.
