Morocco Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch held talks with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof on Wednesday in New York.

This was the first meeting between the two heads of government since Schoof's appointment in July and provided an opportunity to highlight the positive momentum in Moroccan-Dutch relations.

Akhannouch and Schoof agreed to build on this momentum, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and positive exchanges between their countries. They also discussed ways to further strengthen their partnership in various sectors.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, in the presence of Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, as well as Omar Hilale, Morocco’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
