French President Macron concludes three-day state visit to Morocco

French President Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by his spouse, Brigitte Macron, departed Morocco on Wednesday afternoon following a state visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.

Upon his departure from Rabat-Salé Airport, President Macron was seen off by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch.

After reviewing a Royal Air Force detachment performing honors, the French President greeted members of the Honorary Committee, including the Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urban Development, Housing, and Urban Policy, Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, and the King’s Ambassador to Paris, Samira Sitail.

Macron was also greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region and Governor of the prefecture of Rabat, Mohamed Yacoubi; President of the Regional Council of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Rachid El Abdi; Governor of the prefecture of Salé, Omar Touimi; as well as elected representatives, members of the French embassy in Rabat, and other civilian and military figures.
