Moroccan Prof. Najia Hajjaj Hassouni elected associate member of the French Academy of Medicine

The International University of Rabat (UIR) has announced the election of Prof. Najia Hajjaj Hassouni, Dean of the College of Health Sciences, as an associate member of the French Academy of Medicine.

This prestigious recognition, unanimously granted by the 142 voting members, highlights her exemplary commitment to higher education, medical research, and international collaborations.

Already elected in 2010 within this esteemed institution, Prof. Hajjaj Hassouni today attains the higher status of associate, thus consolidating her position as a key figure in medicine.

Through her contributions, she notably distinguishes herself by her role in bridging Moroccan and French medical training. She co-organized French-Moroccan webinars addressing major public health issues, strengthening scientific exchanges between the two countries and enhancing the influence of Moroccan institutions.
