Police from the Judicial Police Squad of Ain Sebaa, Mohammedi district in Casablanca, apprehended a 31-year-old man on Sunday, December 22, after he allegedly rammed his car into a fast food restaurant, causing significant damage to the establishment's façade and injuring four employees.
According to a police press release, identification checks revealed that the suspect has a criminal record and is wanted nationally for two separate cases involving the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The altercation reportedly began when the suspect, who was driving a rental vehicle, engaged in a dispute with employees of the fast food outlet in Ain Sebaa over a parking space designated exclusively for customers. The situation escalated, resulting in the suspect allegedly driving his car into the shop, injuring four employees.
Following the incident, police investigations led to the suspect's arrest while he was in another vehicle, having abandoned the rental car used in the attack. During the arrest, officers discovered 44 doses of a drug known as «Poufa» and Shira, along with a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
The suspect is currently in custody, pending a judicial investigation ordered by the competent public prosecution. Authorities are working to uncover all the details and motives behind the case.
