Ramadan in Morocco to begin on Sunday, March 2

Ramadan 1446 AH will begin in Morocco on Sunday, March 2, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced.

After attempting to sight the crescent moon on Friday, February 28, 2025, authorities confirmed that it was not visible. As a result, Shaaban will complete 30 days, and fasting will start on Sunday.

The ministry extended prayers for King Mohammed VI, the royal family, and the Moroccan people, wishing prosperity for the Islamic world.
