The 13th edition of the Moto Days fair, «Fiera di Roma», dedicated to motorcycle tourism, was inaugurated on Friday in Rome, with Morocco as the guest of honor at this landmark event.

The Moroccan Embassy in Rome participated with a stand showcasing the country's rich craftsmanship and cultural heritage, sparking admiration and enthusiasm among visitors to the three-day fair.

In his opening speech, Morocco's ambassador to Italy, Youssef Balla, emphasized the growing importance of this form of tourism in Morocco. «Far from the traditional routes, motorcycle tourism allows for direct encounters with locals», he said.

Anthony Schless, the general coordinator of the «Africa Eco Race», presented the 2026 edition of the rally, which will cross Moroccan territory en route to Dakar. He pointed out that the next edition will start in Tangier, crossing the Moroccan Sahara and Mauritania before reaching Senegal.

The 2025 edition, held in partnership with the Association Sahara Marocain des Rallyes, linked Monaco to Dakar, covering one of the most significant legs of the Africa Eco Race.

Moto Days features a 40,000-square-meter exhibition area spread across four pavilions, where motorcyclists and visitors can explore the latest innovations in the two-wheeled market and take part in test rides on both safe and off-road courses.
