The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, Azzedine El Midaoui, held talks in Paris with his French counterpart Philippe Baptiste.

The discussions, which took place on the sidelines of Mr. El Midaoui's participation in the Global Ministerial Dialogue on Science Diplomacy at UNESCO on Wednesday, focused on bilateral cooperation in higher education and scientific research.

The two sides addressed issues related to the implementation of the bilateral cooperation agreement signed during the state visit to Morocco by French President Emmanuel Macron last October.

The talks also centered on technical support for university reform in Morocco, particularly the monitoring of an information system related to this initiative.

During the French President's recent visit to the Kingdom, Morocco and France signed an agreement on higher education, scientific research, and innovation, covering university training, scientific cooperation, and collaboration on governance.
