The team from the Mohammed VI Football Academy clinched the title at the 48th edition of the Mondial de la Saint-Pierre in Nantes on Saturday—an international tournament for the under-15 (U15) category—by defeating French club USSA Vertou 4-2 in the final.
The competition, held from April 9 to 12, brought together 24 boys’ teams from around the world, divided into four groups. The Moroccan team was placed in Group D alongside AS Monaco, Beerschot (Belgium), USSA Vertou, Carquefou, and Saint-Pierre de Nantes.

After the group stage, the Mohammed VI Academy team finished top of their group with four wins and one draw, easily qualifying for the quarter-finals. They went on to defeat ESTAC Troyes 2-0 in the semi-final to secure their place in the final.
The Mohammed VI Academy now succeeds SCO Angers (France), the 2024 champions, in the tournament’s record books.
