Heavy thunderstorms and hail forecast in Morocco on Tuesday and Wednesday

Heavy thunderstorms accompanied by local hail are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday across several provinces in Morocco, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced.

According to an orange-level alert issued by the DGM, 20 to 30 mm of rainfall is forecast from Tuesday at 12:00 PM until Wednesday at 7:00 AM in the provinces of Figuig, Jerada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Guercif, Taza, Sefrou, Boulemane, Midelt, Azilal, and Al Haouz.
