On Monday, FIFA unveiled the official logo for the next five editions of the U-17 Women’s World Cup, all of which will be held in Morocco.
For the first time, the tournament will feature 24 teams, starting with the 2025 edition in Morocco, according to a FIFA press release. The new logo is intended to reflect this new chapter in the competition’s history.
The design features the tournament trophy framed within the letter «U» of U-17, symbolizing the partnership between FIFA and Morocco and highlighting the aspirations of young female footballers striving to fulfill their dreams, the global football governing body explained. The dynamic, modern design is meant to honor the legacy of the U-17 Women’s World Cup while looking ahead to the future of women’s football.
The logo will be a visible part of Morocco’s landscape over the next five years, as the country has been selected to host the event annually until 2029. FIFA described the tournament as a key milestone in the development of the world’s top young talent.
Morocco was chosen as host in recognition of its sustained investment in women’s football development—a commitment FIFA says the world will now have the opportunity to witness on a global stage.
The official draw for the U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 is set to take place on Wednesday in Rabat.
