The Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) made a notable visit to Paris yesterday. «General of the Army Corps Mohammed Berrid, along with a distinguished delegation, attended the military farewell ceremony for General Thierry Burkhard on Friday, September 5. The event took place in the honor courtyard of the Hôtel National des Invalides in Paris and was presided over by Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic. It brought together civil and military authorities from both France and abroad,» the FAR announced in a statement released this Saturday.
Following the ceremony, the Inspector General of the FAR was «welcomed at the Armed Forces General Staff by Air Army General Fabien Mandon, the newly appointed Chief of Defense Staff. During their meeting, the two leaders explored various facets of bilateral military cooperation and reiterated their mutual commitment to enhancing these ties,» the statement further detailed.
