Heavy thunderstorms expected in Morocco Wednesday and Thursday

Heavy thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday and Thursday in the provinces of Aousserd and Oued Ed-Dahab, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced on Sunday.

According to a pre-alert bulletin issued by the DGM, the storms are forecast from Wednesday at noon until Thursday at 6:00 p.m., with rainfall totals estimated between 50 and 80 millimeters in the two provinces.
