The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, is taking part this Tuesday, October 7, in Dakar in the proceedings of the «Invest in Senegal» forum.
A delegation of Moroccan economic operators is also attending the event, representing the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and leading national players in banking, the medical and pharmaceutical industries, energy, and water, write diplomatie.ma.
The «Invest in Senegal Forum» is the main annual economic gathering organized by the Senegalese State under the aegis of the Presidency of the Republic. It serves as a key platform for meetings between international investors and local project promoters, where the Senegalese government presents «its best investment opportunities directly to global economic decision-makers», with the goal of attracting capital and boosting national growth.
Morocco’s high-level participation in this forum underscores «the Kingdom’s support for Senegalese development initiatives» and «reflects the quality of the fraternal and solid cooperative relations uniting the two brotherly countries». It is also in line with «the King’s continued interest in the economic development of the continent» and «his commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial South-South partnerships».
